Therapy At Bridgework Counseling

Your therapy sessions should be the one place in your week where you don't have to perform. Nicole creates a grounded, non-judgmental space where you can unpack the heavy stuff without fear. It’s a partnership built on trust and clinical expertise, designed to help you find your footing and your way forward.

Trauma Counseling
Counseling for trauma may look a lot like counseling for other symptoms. At Bridgework Counseling we use an integrative therapeutic approach to help you manage your trauma triggers, and a specialized intervention for trauma called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to clear out the negative beliefs you may have surrounding traumatic events. EMDR is a safe and proven intervention for treating trauma which has been used effectively for almost 40 years.

Grief Support
Grief extends beyond the loss of a loved one; it can stem from losing a job, ending a relationship, or facing a serious medical diagnosis. Seeking support during these challenging times may seem intimidating, but finding the right person to talk to can significantly lighten your emotional load. Grief counseling at Bridgework Counseling offers a supportive environment to explore your thoughts, manage your feelings, and assist you in handling the demands of everyday.
Individual Counseling:
Find Your Footing
Individual therapy is about more than just a weekly check-in; it’s your space to be unfiltered. Whether you are navigating anxiety, processing past trauma, or simply feeling "stuck" during a major life transition, we provide a blend of deep acceptance and active motivation. Together, we’ll move beyond just understanding your mental health to building a practical toolkit that helps you feel grounded, resilient, and ready for what’s next.
Couples Counseling: Rebuilding the Connection
Relationships shouldn't feel like a constant negotiation or a wall of silence. In couples therapy, we move past the cycle of "who’s right" to focus on how you can communicate and connect again. Whether you are navigating a specific crisis or just feel like you’ve drifted apart, we provide a neutral, supportive space to repair trust and rediscover the partnership you started with. It's about more than just resolving conflict because it's about building a relationship that feels like home.
Family Therapy: Finding Common Ground
When one person in a family is struggling, everyone feels the weight. Family therapy at Bridgework Counseling helps shift the focus from "the problem" to the patterns that keep your household feeling tense or disconnected. We work to improve communication, set healthy boundaries, and ensure every voice is heard. Our goal is to replace the daily friction with a sense of team, helping your family navigate challenges together rather than apart.
Invest in Yourself . . .
Investing in counseling can improve your mental health by helping you build resilience and develop effective coping strategies. It's a personal investment that can increase your confidence and self-esteem, and also help you reach your full potential and live a more fulfilling life.
