Invest in Yourself!
Counseling is a short-term investment in your health and well-being that can provide you with long-term benefits
Insurance
We are in-network with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota (BCBSMN) and Blue Plus (Blue Cross), Medica, UCare, United Healthcare, Allina Health Network and Aetna Plans, and working on getting contracted with other insurance providers. Check back for updates as we are contracted or reach out to Nicole if you have questions.

For those that are out-of-network, don't let that stop you from getting started!* We can provide you with an invoice, also known as a “Superbill” of services rendered, that you can submit to your health insurance company for reimbursement.

-
We encourage you to contact your insurance company and ask for details regarding either in-network or out-of-network behavioral health reimbursement before your first session.

* Out-of-network services mean increased privacy and confidentiality.
Unlike in-network providers, we aren’t required to share certain information with your insurance company.
Benefits of Paying Out-of-Pocket
Insurance companies mandate a diagnosis, oversee your health records, and may seek access to your information while in counseling. They also may limit your coverage to a set number of counseling sessions per year, regardless of what you’re going through. When considering the implications of using insurance, paying out-of-pocket is a better fit for some.
Accepted Forms of Payment
We accept payment via debit or credit card, HSA, or FSA card. Before your intake session, you will be directed to set up a card on file for automatic payment arrangement on a secure, encrypted platform. Your card will automatically be charged at the end of each session.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total anticipated cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, or any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Cancellation Policy
We require a 24-hour notice of cancellation to avoid a full payment fee for a missed session. If this is concerning due to your circumstances, please discuss it before entering treatment.
Rates
We offer a free 15-minute initial consultation to help both of us determine if we are the right fit.
During this consultation I will ask a few questions to understand what brings you to counseling
and what you are looking for in a counselor and in your treatment.
